Please come help us on Sunday April 3 anytime between 10 am and 4 pm to mulch, weed, plant our orchard trees and connect the cistern. Everyone is welcome - bring your whole family. Bring rakes, shovels and wheelbarrows - remember to put your name on them. Snacks will be available.

ReplyDeleteMy son is a 6th grader at MC and we worked at the garden on 10/10/10 (we are long overdue for another one but are working very hard to expand the Vallecito garden right now). Anyway, there was a craigslist posting recently for free seeds and small tomato plants from a ranch in Napa. Here is their website: www.hattichranchandfarm.com. I was thinking of getting some for Vallecito. If you want to check out this, and if it seems good for your garden I can try to get some for you too.
